About the consultation

You are invited to provide your feedback on the draft listing assessment and conservation advice regarding the eligibility of the pygmy cypress pine (Callitris oblonga subsp. parva) for inclusion on the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) list of threatened species, and protection and recovery action for this species.

The draft listing assessment for this species was prepared by the New South Wales Government under the Common Assessment Method agreement between Australia’s state, territory and Commonwealth governments.

The Threatened Species Scientific Committee has reviewed the draft assessment to determine the eligibility of the species for inclusion in the list of threatened species under the EPBC Act and make recommendations to the Australian Government Minister for the Environment and Water.

You are also invited to provide your feedback on the draft listing advice for the pygmy cypress pine (Callitris oblonga) for deletion from EPBC Act list of threatened species, prepared by the Commonwealth.
