Heard Island and McDonald Islands Marine Reserve proposed proclamation and proposal to prepare a draft management plan

I am concerned that lots of deep sea mud get protection but the amazing canyons are still pillaged by commercial fishing. It’s clear that the boundaries were drawn so as not to upset the fishing industry and have largely ignored the science.
