Overview

The Emissions Reduction Assurance Committee (the Committee) is seeking feedback on the Soil Organic Carbon method 2021’s compliance with the Offset Integrity Standards as set out in the Carbon Credits (Carbon Farming Initiative) Act 2011 (the Act). Feedback is also sought on whether eligible management activities, measurement and modelling approaches should be updated based on emerging technologies and scientific knowledge. This will inform the Committee’s advice to the Minister for Climate Change and Energy on whether further action is required.
