About this consultation

The Threatened Species Scientific Committee invites your feedback on the consultation document for nine listing assessments prepared by Queensland through the Common Assessment Method.

The Committee assesses nominations of species to determine their eligibility for inclusion in the list of threatened species under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) and makes recommendations to the Australian Government Minister for the Environment and Water.

You are invited to provide your feedback on draft listing assessment and conservation advice prepared by Queensland through the Common Assessment Method for nine species. These documents consider the eligibility for inclusion on the EPBC Act list of threatened species, and protection and recovery action for the following species:

  • Acacia castorum (Peak Range wattle)

  • Acacia lumholztii (Girringun wattle)

  • Aristida thompsonii (Thompson’s wiregrass)

  • Auranticarpa edentata

  • Gossia hillii (scaly myrtle)

  • Lerista colliveri (nubbined fine-lined slider)

  • Lerista rochfordensis (Rochford slider)

  • Rhodamnia sessiliflora (iron malletwood)

  • Rhodamnia whiteana (white malletwood).

Your feedback will assist with the Committee's assessment and the recommendations that it makes to the Australian Government Minister for the Environment and Water.

We welcome responses from all interested individuals or groups.
