About the consultation
You are invited to provide your views and supporting reasons about the eligibility of the following species for inclusion in the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) list of threatened species and the necessary conservation actions for these species:
Euastacus balanensis (balan spiny crayfish)
Euastacus fleckeri (red and blue spiny crayfish)
Euastacus urospinosus (Maleny crayfish)
Euastacus yigara (Cardwell hairy crayfish)
Responses are welcomed from any interested person.
The Threatened Species Scientific Committee assesses species to determine their eligibility for inclusion in the list of threatened species under the EPBC Act and provides recommendations to the Australian Government Minister for the Environment and Water.
