About the consultation
You are invited to provide your feedback on the draft listing assessments and conservation advices prepared by state and territory governments regarding five species. These documents consider the eligibility for inclusion on the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) list of threatened species, and protection and recovery action for the following species:
Australian Capital Territory species
Canberra raspy cricket (Cooraboorama canberrae)
Murunung Naruwi (Euastacus crassus sensu stricto)
Perunga grasshopper (Perunga ochracea)
New South Wales species
Euastacus cf. crassus
Queensland species
Androcalva pearnii
We welcome responses from all interested individuals or groups.
The draft listing assessments for these species were prepared by the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and Queensland governments under the Common Assessment Method agreement between Australia’s state, territory and Commonwealth governments.
The Threatened Species Scientific Committee has reviewed these draft assessments to determine the eligibility of the species for inclusion in the list of threatened species under the EPBC Act and make recommendations to the Australian Government Minister for the Environment and Water.
