Overview

An Independent Review Panel has reviewed how the Snowy Water Inquiry Outcomes Implementation Deed is working. The Review focused on ways to improve the health of the upper Murrumbidgee and Snowy rivers.

The Draft Report sets out the Review Panel’s advice on how the Deed could be improved.

The Report:

  • explains the background and how the review was done

  • looks at how well the current Deed is working

  • suggests changes to address key issues to improve the health of the upper Murrumbidgee and Snowy rivers.

It also outlines possible impacts on:

  • the National Electricity Market

  • downstream water uses

  • local communities.
