About this consultation

The Threatened Species Scientific Committee invites you to provide feedback on the consultation document for three listing assessments prepared by Western Australia through the Common Assessment Method.

The Committee assesses nominations of species to determine their eligibility for inclusion in the list of threatened species under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) and, if eligible, the category in which they are eligible to be included.

You are invited to provide your feedback on draft listing assessments and conservation advice prepared by Western Australia through the Common Assessment Method for three species. These documents consider the eligibility for inclusion on the EPBC Act list of threatened species, and protection and recovery action for the following species:

  • Calectasia elegans (elegant tinsel lily)

  • Persoonia flexifolia

  • Synostemon hamersleyensis (Hamersley spurge)

Your feedback will assist with the Committee's assessment and the recommendations that it makes to the Australian Government Minister for the Environment and Water.

We welcome responses from all interested individuals or groups.
