Which option best describes your overall level of support for the Middle Head / Gubbuh Gubbuh Revised Draft Master Plan?
Please provide further detail about your response.
There is an element of disappointment that the original consultation process meant that many people who had a story to tell about ASOPA felt they had been left out: the teachers, the Patrol Officers, and those from across the Pacific. If those who remain are able tell their story, you will have succeeded in recording part of Australia's history.
Which option best describes your overall level of support for the changes made in the Middle Head / Gubbuh Gubbuh Revised Draft Master Plan from the previous consultation?
Please provide further detail about your response.
I am pleased that the Harbour Trust has listened to the concerns of those who regard Middle Head / Gubbah Gubbah as an important place for a variety of reasons. However, I look forward to seeing how the intentions in the draft revised master plan are carried out; how the story of ASOPA is actually captured, how those people with stories are able to record them, and finally, how those 30 Kiaps (patrol officers), who trained at ASOPA for service in PNG and did not come home, are remembered.
