From the information I have researched on these turbines, the energy is far from green. Potential oil leaks, fires, non recyclable materials to build them are just a few of the negatives.
By far my biggest concern is the delicate corals and reef systems in this area. These WILL be destroyed to put in footings and cables back to land.
These reef systems also are homes to the demersal fish the government have deemed susceptible to overfishing and placed bans for large parts of the year (no these structures will not create artificial reefs for these fish)
They will be detrimental to the migrating whales being in the direct path of these animals, in other parts of the world these have caused beachings and deaths due to sonar disruption.
Also, being visible from shore at 370m total height this is an absolute eyesore not welcome here or any stretch of the west facing shores of WA.
With the wind at certain times of the year non-existent and too strong at others making it not suitable for wind turbines, the efficiency will be severely impacted .

They will still be visible from shore and an eyesore as a west facing coast with the best sunsets in the world

Reef destruction causing a massive decline in the very demersal fish being protected via fishing bans ( big contradiction don't you think ?)
