The Geographe Bay region is a tourism hot spot, known for its clean, untouched, open and uninterrupted spaces, beaches and oceans. These wind turbines will create from both the shoreline and on the water a visual blight on our environment. Once this infrastructure is built our pristine environment will be lost forever !

The Geographe Bay region is a tourism hot spot, known for its clean, untouched, open and uninterrupted spaces, beaches and oceans. These wind turbines will create from both the shoreline and on the water a visual blight on our environment. Once this infrastructure is built our pristine environment will be lost forever, severely impacting on our brand and devastating our tourism worth.

Not enough is known regarding the impacts of noise, vibration and electromagnetic energy produced from wind turbines and what affect they might have on our marine life; including the known migration route/zone for whales in the area proposed for a wind farm within the Geographe Bay location.

Once installed, this infrastructure will need maintenance and rehabilitation works for in perpetuity (that is; FOREVER !) - the impact alone this will have from both a monetary and environmental pollution perspective is simply madness !
