this covers an enormous area of Geographe Bay which will create a permanent visual and sound intrusion. It is very difficult to understand how this project is viable with the high upfront costs of installing and then maintaining an offshore wind farm compared to other low carbon emitting solutions eg solar, green hydrogen and nuclear. This offshore wind farm is remote from the major transmission lines whereas the alternatives of solar, green hydrogen and nuclear can be located close to the existing power generation plants using the existing transmission lines.

Geographe Bay is a unique bay worldwide and there should be NO visual intrusion of this natural environment which is frequented by tourist cruise liners every month.

fishing is likely to be restricted to set distances from the wind turbines plus the noise / frequency generated by the turbines is likely to be uncomfortable for fishing nearby.
