Would you like to submit any further feedback on your responses or the North Head Sanctuary Draft Master Plan?

I would love to see renewable energy constructed and operating up at North Head. Renewable energy and the preservation of our environment is of paramount concern for the people of the Northern Beaches and this fact was evident in our last election. Through her leadership, Zali Steggall has vowed to transform energy by committing to an orderly transition to 80% renewable energy by 2030. With that said, the people of the Northern Beaches can boast of our environmental credentials, as living next to a clean wind or a clean solar farm would be a true demonstration of our green commitment.

The majority of power generated in NSW is used in Sydney and its higher-density suburbs spanning the north and south coast, therefore if we had a renewable hub at North Head (and ideally other central locations), we would be saving transmission costs for the State Government and developer bodies.

I would love to see the old Barracks turned into a steering hub where like-minded environmental enthusiasts can brainstorm and lay the foundations to a cleaner and greener future for generations to come.
