1. Are there any specific approaches applied in the method that you agree with?

No

1.a Why or why not?

The objective of 'nature repair' is in direct conflict with what governments are actually doing.
The WA Government has just gutted the Environmental Protection Authority and the Federal Government is offering weak and ineffective environmental protection legislation.
WA has a burning industry and prescribe burns millions of hectares of native vegetation every year despite scientific evidence that it is driving species to extinction.
At the same time politicians et al. offer this verbose and complicated scheme to the public, they approve more coal mines, more gas projects and more fracking, all of which exacerbate climate change and negate any possible improvement in biodiversity repair and protection.

2. Are there any specific approaches applied in the method that you do not agree with?

Yes

2.a Why or why not?

This is setting up yet another bureaucracy that demands funding and resources without addressing the underlying cause of biodiversity degradation and loss: ever increasing population. No one wants to even mention what would be a sustainable population for Australia at what level of consumption.
More and more people with ever increasing demands will continue to degrade and destroy biodiversity. With most political parties and politicians encouraging a big Australia and no limit in sight, 'nature repair' is a sick joke.

2.b What do you think would be a better approach in the areas that you do not agree with?

Support and fund the NGO nature care and repair organisations that already exist: Australia Wildlife Conservancy (AWC), Bush Heritage Australia (BHA), in WA Gondwana Link, and the individuals that are doing this of their own initiative: see https://bushblocksguardians.org.au/. For example, no stamp duty on the purchase of land to be revegetated with native vegetation or land with native vegetation to be protected in perpetuity; land tax and rate relief for properties with a binding conservation covenant.
We don't need another scheme, especially one based on money, that will lead to the usual scamming and rorting.
