The Australian Government is developing a strategy to enable large scale deployment of carbon capture, use and storage (CCUS). The National CCUS Technology Emissions Abatement Strategy will outline how CCUS can contribute to Australia’s climate mitigation policies and help reduce emissions by 2050.
We are seeking your input on the opportunities and barriers to the deployment of CCUS in Australia. Your responses will inform part 1 (the guiding principles) of the strategy. We will conduct broader consultation in 2022 to build on the guiding principles and help inform part 2 of the strategy (CCUS Roadmap to 2030 and Beyond).
