Overview
The Technology Investment Roadmap reviews and refines the Australian Government's technology-led approach to reducing emissions.
The roadmap is the government’s investment strategy to support commercial uptake of low emissions technologies. It is the cornerstone of Australia’s Long-Term Emissions Reduction Plan and supports achieving net zero emissions by 2050.
The roadmap is updated each year through Low Emissions Technology Statements (LETS). The government released LETS 2021 on 2 November 2021. It is the second statement following the first LETS release in 2020.
We are seeking submissions to inform development for the third statement.
The roadmap will help deliver the best economic and emissions reduction outcomes for Australia.
