We received 67 survey responses and 17 formal submissions during this consultation. We held 2 webinars during the consultation period, with 110 and 155 participants attending. The Assessor Accrediting Organisations (AAOs) also hosted an event.

NatHERS assessors submitted 37% of the survey responses. This reflects the work the AAOs undertook to promote the consultation. We also received survey responses from:

  • architects and designers
  • energy efficiency consultants
  • building certifiers and surveyors
  • government officials
  • AAOs
  • builders and others involved with the building sector.

We received submissions from industry bodies including:

  • Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA)
  • Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council (ASBEC)
  • Property Council of Australia (PCA)
  • Australian Pipelines and Gas Association (APGA)
  • Rheem
  • Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Equipment Manufacturers Association of Australia (AREMA)
  • Master Electricians Australia (MEA)
  • Stiebel Eltron.

We included all responses in our analysis of the consultation.
