Personal information means information or an opinion about an individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether or not it is true or recorded in material form.
By submitting a response to this survey, you consent to the department collecting your personal information provided in your response. This may include:
your name, address, email and telephone number
your opinions about implementing Australia’s Strategy for Nature 2024-2030 and how the proposed plan may impact you
your description of different projects or programs that you or your organisation are implementing.
How we will use and disclose your personal information
The department will use any personal information provided in your submission to:
assess the outcomes and effectiveness of the proposed implementation to support Australia’s Strategy for Nature 2024-2030
contact you about your responses, including for further information or feedback
inform you about the outcomes of this survey and other matters that we consider may be relevant to you.
The personal information provided in your submission will be disclosed to relevant department staff, the Minister for the Environment and their staff, and staff from other national, state and territory government agencies.
Personal information will be disclosed with these parties for the purpose of informing our approach to implementing Australia’s Strategy for Nature 2024-2030.
We may also disclose your personal information where authorised or required by law.
