In detail, describe your idea or concept that could help with delivering the Murray-Darling Basin Plan’s 450GL water recovery target or create water efficiencies and environmental outcomes with less water
Without looking after the river system environment properly in the face of changing climate the river system will grind to a halt. Water quality will continue to decline, riparian vegetation will die out, native fish and water birds will continue disappear. Pest carp comprise about 95% of the fish and being bottom feeders are responsible for the turbidness of the water.
