Overview
We are seeking your feedback on the draft threat abatement plan for predation by European red fox Vulpes vulpes 2026.
The plan will address the impacts that European red foxes have on Australia’s native fauna.
Threat abatement plans establish a national framework to guide and coordinate Australia’s response to key threats that negatively affect our native species and ecological communities. These plans identify research, management and other actions that all levels of government and other stakeholders can take to ensure the long-term survival of native species and ecological communities.
Reducing the impact of these threats will support the recovery of threatened species and ecological communities.
Your feedback will help inform the final version of this threat abatement plan.
