Responses must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Thursday, 2 October 2025.

Privacy/personal information collection

Your views are being sought by us for the purpose of informing the Minister for the Environment on the adoption or making of recovery plans under the EPBC Act.

Personal information that you provide will only be used for this purpose. Personal information may be disclosed to employees of Australian Government agencies, the Threatened Species Scientific Committee, the minister, state and territory agencies and persons (including contractors) assisting the minister for the purpose outlined above. Contents of your submission may be included in subsequent publications of recovery plans.

We will deal with any personal information you provide in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988, including the Australian Privacy Principles, and in accordance with the department’s privacy policy.

Our privacy policy contains information about how to access or correct your personal information and about how to make a complaint about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles.
