About the consultation

You are invited to provide your views and supporting reasons about:

  • the eligibility of White Ash forests of south-east Australia for inclusion on the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) list of threatened ecological communities, and

  • the necessary conservation actions for this ecological community

Questions embedded within the Draft Conservation Advice provide guidance on additional information that can be provided to support the listing assessment and information about defining and conserving the ecological community.

Responses are welcomed from any interested person.

The Threatened Species Scientific Committee assesses ecological communities to determine their eligibility for inclusion in the list of threatened ecological communities under the EPBC Act and provides recommendations to the Australian Government Minister for the Environment and Water.
