About the consultation
The Department of Climate Change, Energy and the Environment has received an application for a permit under Part 13, section 237 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) to incidentally interfere with cetaceans for the purpose of undertaking bathymetric surveys in Commonwealth waters.
How can I get involved
It is a 10-business day public consultation period from the date of publication, you are invited to comment on this application before close of business on Monday, 16 June 2025.
